The BSB41415 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is a nationally recognised qualification which will train you to identify hazards in your workplace, assist with responding to incidents, assess and control risk and consult on work health and safety issues.
This qualification is valuable for all professions including:
- Physical trades (ie. builders, construction workers, high risk jobs)
- Roles that interact with customers and clients (ie, hospitality, health, retail / customer service)
- Those who are self-employed or small businesses.

Ready to enrol?
This highly interactive program is delivered face to face over 5 days plus coaching if required.
Times: Monday – Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm
Some learners may be able to complete all their assessments during their 5 day program, although course pre-preparation and some after-hours work may be required. If you need further help and more time to complete your assessments, you can submit after the face-to-face sessions are complete and you’ll have access to a coach to support you.

The program fee includes all materials, assessment, morning and afternoon tea and lunch each day. Industry funding may be available for this program.

While there are no educational prerequisites for this course, English language proficiency and literacy skills are needed to complete the course in the required time frame. The program also requires competency in using a computer or tablet devices for research.
A good level of numeracy is necessary to complete the learning and assessment activities in this program.

Have extensive experience?
If you have extensive vocational work experience in work health and safety roles without a formal qualification you may consider applying for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning), a process for giving candidates credit for skills, knowledge and experience gained. You will be required to gather evidence of your experience. There is a fee for RPL assessment.
