What do I need to stay compliant?

What qualification do you currently hold?

To stay credentialed to train in the VET sector, you'll need to take action to remain compliant. You have two options.

First check your TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Statement of Attainment. Do you hold either of these required units or their equivalents?

  • TAELLN411 Address Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy

  • TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools

Option 1 - The Compliance Path : Add to your current TAE40110 qualification

You can remain compliant by simply adding these two required units to your current TAE40110. If you already completed a unit as part of your TAE40110 qualification, you will only need to complete the other.

  • TAELLN411 Address Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy
  • TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools

When complete, you can show your employer your Statement of Attainment as evidence of having completed these units and you will be compliant with the new credential requirements.

Option 2 - The Upgrade Path : Obtain the new qualification

Want the new qualification? To upgrade your TAE40110 qualification to the new TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment simply complete:

  • TAELLN411 Address Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy +
  • TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools +
  • A Gap Assessment /RPL Kit
