Designed for emerging leaders, in the BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management you’ll learn how to provide leadership and guidance to others in the workplace and to manage effective, motivated, high performing teams in all types of organisations and industries.
Whether you’re a nurse, in construction, or running your own business, the skills of leadership are the same, even though how you apply the skills vary. This 6 day, highly practical program blends the latest techniques for managing yourself and others in the ever-changing workplace with proven approaches and strategies that help get the best from your people.
You’ll learn how to communicate effectively as a leader and build relationships, set priorities, implement operational plans and continuous improvement. The techniques you learn in the program can then be applied to your particular situation and workplace to improve engagement, increase productivity and the delivery of exceptional results. The face to face sessions will incorporate case studies, facilitated discussions and activities where you will draw from your individual own experience.
Scheduled for 2 days per week with 2-3 weeks between for homework, spaced over a 6 week period, this format supports those wanting to trial their new skills within the workplace supported by an expert management facilitator.

A $1200 subsidy is available for this program for eligible participants.
While there are no educational prerequisites for this course, English language proficiency, literacy and numeracy skills are needed to complete the course and the assessment activities.
The program also may require competency in using a computer or tablet devices for research. Please let us know when you enrol if we can support you.
Have extensive experience?
If you have extensive vocational work experience in management or leadership without a formal qualification you may consider applying for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning), a process for giving candidates credit for skills, knowledge and experience gained. You will be required to gather evidence of your experience. There is a fee for RPL assessment.

Ready to enrol?
This highly interactive program is delivered face to face over 2 x 42 day training sessions (total 6 days) over a 3-4 month period with relevant assessment activities. (See dates right).
Class Times: 8.30am-5.00pm
Prior to program: Preliminary research and reading to be completed prior to the program.
Block 1: 3 days face-to-face, followed by 1 month to undertake activities and assessment tasks. Inclusive of coaching conversations.
Block 2: 3 days face-to-face, followed by 1 month to undertake activities and assessment tasks. Inclusive of coaching conversations.
People who undertake this program are motivated to gain their qualification in an engaging face to face environment with a skilled and experienced facilitator. We’ve designed this high impact training with activities created to support the completion of your assessments. Our coaching team is available to support you with completion of take-home projects if post-program coaching is required.
(GST is not applicable on accredited training).
Program fee includes all materials, assessment, morning and afternoon tea in all programs in all states.
Lunch is provided each day in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra.
